Greetings fellow Brothers and Sisters of The Leaf, I'm another Kevin from Florida, and am damn glad to meet you all. I first started smoking cigars about 20 years ago, for those of you call them that i.e., (swisher sweets, backwoods, etc.) And yes, a friend or two of mine still light them up once in a while along with a swig or three of rotgut old school George Dickel or Southern Comfort Whiskey.

My favorite Non-Cuban premium brands are currently CAO Brazilia, Carlos Torano Exodus 1959, Joya Nicacagua Antano 1970 and Punch Rare Corojos. Being a recently ex-cigarette smoker, I'm basically into any tasty, strong flavored smokes whether Nicaraguan, Honduran, Dominican or otherwise.

Too, while I certainly enjoy the unique flavor of any Cubans such as Monte Cristo #2 or #4, Cohiba Esplendido, which friends supply me with a handful or so each each year from their vacations to the Carribean, reality dictates that I also appreciate the everyday affordable yard gar bundles that are so plentiful as specials on the internet.

I'm glad I found this board of laid back, yet enthusiastic and knowledgeable group of cigar lovers and look forward to sharing the experience with everyone.

Is it only the ones I review that I can write off?

Thanks for the welcome. No, no IRS here. In private practice. Tax prep and stuff like that. Work part-time(the fun job) at a retail tobacco store.
