I do believe I've heard the name "Ram" around here before...there were usually a few vulgarities attached to it for some reason though?

Greetings cigar fiends!! My name is Brian and am happy to be a part of the community. I live in Northern Kentucky and repair medical equipment at Children's Hospital in Cincinnati. I served 5 years in the Seventh Fleet, so I am a bit rough around the edges. I also served as an officer in the Army and did a 1 year tour in Iraq. A mortar round managed to land about 10 feet from where I was standing, hence the Purple Heart.

I have been a fan of cigars for quite a while now (I'm 35 years old), though I usually smoke once or twice a week. About six months ago, I stopped smoking cigarettes (though I enjoyed every one of them.) This has made my tastes in cigars change quite significantly and has really forced me to go through the entire range of cigars all over again. A friend of mine who smokes nothing but well aged Cuban cigars has introduced me to the art of aging cigars. Like anyone else, I find this rather difficult to do.

Anyhow, glad to be a part of the community. My number one hobby is my 215 gallon reef aquarium. I can't sit down and smoke in front of it, because I usually fall asleep after 15 minutes of viewing; yes, it's that peaceful.

I think you will find us to be a diverse group of guys with a common love of cigars. Great people too. What are you smoking these days??

I was in the 7th fleet for 5 years in the mid 70s and am still rough around the edges....
