Yup...another noob here!

New to this site, that is. Big D recommended the place and so i thought i outta give 'er a shot. Hey, since i'm a newb here everyone feel free to send me some samplers! Here are some of my faves...er, i mean...ones i've tried once before and thought i'd like to try again!

Opus (any)
Anejo (any of the smaller-medium sizes)
Ashton (cabinet and vsg)
Bolivar (especially BBF from an ISOM)
RP (Edge, Vintage and sungrown)
Torano (signature, exodus and tribute lines)
Trinidad (love the Reyes and NC robusto)
Oliva O Classic
Avo (classic and domaine)
AF Hemi maddie

Just to name a few (the list of my likes is much much longer, these are just some of my faves). I'm a fuente whore and have not had many fuente products i haven't liked, i love the maduro stuff. Basically, if i had to choose my favorite 3 cigar companies it would be AF, RP and Torano. I could live the rest of my life with the selections these have to offer, gladly tho, i don't have to!

I tend to prefer anything 4 1/2 - 7 inches and 42-54 ring guage with robustos and toros among my favorites and churchills about my maximum enjoyable size. I have a tendency toward maduro and sungrown wrappers over naturals or candelas. Over the last couple years i've been drawn to the dark side!

I'm looking forward to making some new friends here, learning more about the hobby we all hold dear, and helping out those that i can. Who am i kidding, I just like answering questions to toot my own horn. LOL

BTW: I'm also a huge motorcycle fan and a homebrewer (mostly wine, but some beer) for those of you that i may share some other interests with.

Yeah, i know...i'm long winded...so who votes i get early on and be done with it?

My first bike was a 1500 Valkyrie (6 cyl). I was never real happy with that bike because of the sound and feel of the engine, so i'm now on the bike in my sig. It's an 1800 VTX Retro (v-twin is the only way to go) with lots of goodies: Fuel-injection, liquid cooled, Kuryakyn Hypercharger, Hard Krome 3" Big Straights Dragpipe exhaust, lots of extra chrome, Kuryakyn grips, throttle boss, stilleto end caps on bars/rims, white out light kit (which really makes the chrome pop off against the black paint). I'm guessing i'm running around 110 hp on a heavy cruiser that handles like a pig. But it's big, loud and has lots of power.

I liked the retro model because of the fenders, but mine's an 02 and since then they've come out with a rear fender i like a little better, it hugs the tire and has double chevron tail lights (a custom look that i loved since they first came out with it).

If you're a Harley rider i like Road Kings and Heritage models, but for the money it would take to get the power i'd want out of it, it just wasn't for me. The V-rod can out perform my bike, but they don't sound anything like a traditional hog and are way too small and skinny of a look for me. So, i chose the beast i loved the best.

I'm still looking at doing a slight rake to the front end and maybe adding a 240 rear tire kit down the road. I've been talking to some guys about custom paint as well. We'll see...it all depends on how the money is and how much my wife knows about what's going on!
