Just Met Carlos Torano
Cheers all, from San Diego. The local crew just hipped me to this illustrious community and for my first post, I thought I'd mention what a great time I had over at Excalibur today, meeting Don Carlos Torano and enjoying one of their fresh-rolled Churchills.
The turnout was great and the hospitality accordingly conducive to what was perhaps the best extended lunch break I've ever enjoyed from work, minus the company of a beautiful lady. Anyway, as tough as it's getting for us to enjoy smoking quality tobacco around the world, I'm all the more impressed with Sr. Torano and his conviction and humility. He's truly a cultured and gracious dignitary of the finest caliber.
And for all of you who've met him at the BigSmoke in Vegas, he just LOVES you guys.

I just enjoyed my first Torano 1959. Very dark, rich,chocalatey taste. Very close to the same as enjoying the Padron 26. Definitely one of my favorites now. hmmm hmmmm hmmmm.
