Greetings from snowy Michigan
Hello all. Thought I'd introduce myself and a little bit of my background. First I have to say, this is a fabulous site. I cannot tell you how much new knowledge I have obtained in the past few days. My interests are hunting, fishing, AR15's, Cigar collecting/enjoying, gin martinis, BBQ/smoking ribs-briskets-roasts. I had a few bad experiences with some full body cigars recently, so I'm back to med strength stix. I do not have a favorite brand as I enjoy the variety that cigar smoking provides. I also smoke lots of pork product, in one of my three smokers on the patio, during the brief summer months. Now, they are snow covered once again and the long boring winter takes over. Time for ice fishing on lake St. Clair for perch. I am a engineer for a tier 1 supplier who makes exterior chrome plated garnish trim for the auto industry. I have been smoking cigars for 25 years now. Enough about me. Thanks for the opportunity to share my interests.

Thanks for the kind words all. I am in the process of converting a large glass doored gun cabinet, into a humidor. Just completed the inside walls/shelves and the sealing of the doors. I have 2lbs of 65% beads in it and a Oasis XL is in the mail-on the way. Once I figure out how to post pix, I will do so and show stages to final product. Most of the info for this project was obtained through this website. Cool. Can't meet on Sat Mtmouse. I'll be sitting in my portable shanty on the lake enjoying a A. Fuente in search of giant perches.
