Greetings From The East Coast

Morning Gentlemen,

I've just discovered and joined this great forum.

In anticipation of my 2 kids graduating from College and High School, I began a self-guided tour through my nearest cigar store (Tabacco Haven, Brookline, NH) hoping to find that little gem of a fine cigar that would cap off the perfect graduation party.

Since mid-May I've selected about 20 mild and medium cigars as I develope a liking for the "stick". They've run the gamit from Ashton Prime Ministers, through Punch JGs, the fine handy work of the Montesino Gran Corona Naturals and over to a neat little Sancho Panza. They are all good and I need more research

I'm here to learn and enjoy!

Regards!

Thanks guys,

Hey Toastie,
Have you been to Tabacco Haven?
Have you been to the new place near Spitbrook, I think it's called Two Guys?
I'm closer to Brookline (12 minutes from my place) but occasionally get up to Nashua, didn't know if the new place was worth a stop.

It's worth the stop. It's right where Hooter's used to be near the corner of Daniel Webster Highway and Spitbrook road. The shear mass of the box humidor is incredible. I love Tobacco Haven for their prices, but it is further (time wise) than other places around me (Castros, 2Guys, and even Holy Smokes! in Manchester). While you are in Nashua, also check out Hudson News (in the Pheasant Lane Mall) they run sales all the time (right now 20% off all boxes, he fluctuates from week to week).

smh0768 and GreySmoke,
Thanks for the welcome. I'm laughing at your replay, Stan! At the end of the day, I'll sit outside with my wife (provided she's not working) and enjoy some scotch and a light up a little homework. I get a better response if the smoke smells pleasant rather then the odor of a dumpster on fire.

Thanks T.C. I'll make it a point to drop in at 2Guys. I wasn't crazy about the location, went there once when it was DB Cooper's. But a walk in humidor has a gravitation pull all its own, and I usually get caught in it. hoohoo:

Super64, yeah, i lucked out in that my wife enjoys cigars on occasion, so she puts up with mine quite nicely! (except the previously mentioned *frequent* shipments coming in) she's actually recently decided to pick up the pipe. had another botl's s.o. that had a pipe, and they really hit it off.

...still working on bringing her around on the scotch, but it's starting to work!

Thanks Harvey, I confess my palete is still in kindergarden, I'm afraid a Padron would be wasted on me. My cigars are all light and have training wheels.....

Rob, haven't me Maduromojo yet, online or anywhere else. I've only been going to TH for a few weeks, but there was gentleman there who was very helpful when I was walking around the humi like a kid in a candy store. Apparently he's a regular. Medium height, medium build, long black hair and beard. Had a gravelly voice but absolutly knew his stuff.

Sounds like you may have bumped into John the artist who painted those pictures on the wall. I understand he practically lives there!
