Hello fellow leafers.
My name is nick, I am 29 from Washington state. I recently joined this board because I recently started taking up the past time of enjoying a cigar.
Much of my current knowledge I have gleamed from this board, and I really enjoy the down to earth nature of the members. I think it is a myth that only well to do upper level business men smoke cigars. Frankly I feel those types smoke them more for prestige than enjoyment. So far I have sampled a Thompson sampler (executive) very disappointed. 4 of the twelve cigars were Thompson's, if I wanted Thompson's i would buy them. And waiting 18 days to get them. Since then I have discovered CI and CIbid, both have cradled me in their warm arms. I have a 100 count humidor on its way, with a box of Flor De Oliva's. Currently my favorite smoke has been the RP Vintage 1990 Churchill. I really enjoyed this smoke. I had two of them, and really enjoyed the smooth and creamy flavor. Plus the square shape was new to me and i liked the way it felt between my fingers. I look forward to sampling many cigars in the future as budget permits, and will definitely be looking to all of you for insight on new cigars. The whole "Nub line really intrigues me, and I may have to pull the trigger on some samplers. I also seen this "bomb" section on this board, which is so funny because the friend of mine that got me into cigars I just bombed yesterday. He lives thousands of mines away, but I wanted to show my gratitude for him helping me get started. So I bought and sent him a nice 5 pack sampler from CI before I even knew what bombing was. Thank you guys. Happy SMOKES! |

yea I already feel welcome here, most people seem real down to earth. Good place to share smokes and stories with.
I'm a little worried about my new humidor arriving though, never broke one of them in before. I guess I could always throw it in my neighbor's swimming pool for an hour or so hehe. |

Trust me bro, with the junk I've been buying (uninformed) some chlorine would surely do them some good.
Rank? ive smelled body odor that had a more pleasing fragrance. I had one last night that made me want to roll my couch cushin up and smoke it instead. Uninformed cigar buying can be a hazard to your health. |
