Welcome in. Is your shop at 518 and 288 in all the new shops? I work in Rosharon down 288. I go into Pearland every once in awhile for lunch.

Howdy Jimmie, Texas Laws make new startup business feasible, I wish other states might get a clue.

That is exactly where the shop is. Coming from the South going North, the shop would be on the left hand side (right next door to the new HEB). Just take the 518 exit and hook a left under 288 and take a right at the first light (Business Center Dr) and just pull into the HEB parking lot. We are literally right next door to them...if you're looking straight at HEB in the front, our shop is on the left hand side.

Feel free to stop by, you'll either run into me, my brother (Ronnie...the "R" in J & R), or my father, Jack.

Thanks!

Yes it does, fortunately. This is our 3rd Tobacco related business and all have been without hiccups. Now let's just hope they don't pass that Cigar tax!

Welcome from DE! Now I can't come and buy any cigars but I looked at the flyer and saw your seleccion is a great start. May I suggest some cigars? NUb, G.A.R, Padilla, 5 Vegas are some brands to look into. Good luck and glad to have you aboard.

Thanks for the kind remarks.
We are actually in the process of getting some NUB's for sure. Padilla and 5 Vegas are somewhat hard to find right now for us. Here is why:

For the state of Texas, as a Tobacco business owner, anywhere you buy from MUST have Texas taxes paid on all merchandise that you order. What this basically means is that any wholesaler we have tried to contact about ordering cigars has ended up a dead end; they all ended up not paying Texas state tax, so we couldn't order from them. This is the rule and the law and there really is no way around it for now.

Currently, we are buying from texas based wholesalers (obviously, they pay their state tax) so we are working with what we got. In the mean time, we'll try our best in finding these particular Cigars, there are no guarantees however. Here are some Cigars that we are "in the hunt" for:

Padilla & Miami
601
Don Pepin (specifically the Black Label)
Gran Habano
Indian Tabac
Nestor Miranda
Opus X
Tatuaje
5 Vegas

Gran Habano is very close to being in our hands as well as Don Pepin. The Opus X is sold out everywhere (Christmas is when they are usually available). Everything else...we'll keep trying.

Any other suggestions or requests are greatly, greatly, appreciated.

Thanks,
Jimmy

David,

Sounds great my friend. What cigars do you guys manufacture?
If you want to mail me a catalog and/or price list, that'd be great as well.

We are planning some events for the month of November, maybe we can do something with your company? Let's keep in touch.

The stores' phone number is: 713-340-1488

Thanks!
Jimmy
