Hello to all,

My name is Dave and I live in Tampa Bay, Fl. (I'm not the General though).
I have smoked cigars off and on over the past 20 years. Recently I quit smoking those nasty cigarettes and got smart and graduated to Cigars. I have always enjoyed cigars, but I am finally in a place where I can afford(kind of) this hobby. A friend and I have decided to take your community's lead and start our own podcast, concentrating on the cigar community of the Tampa Bay area, the local manufacturers and rollers. We plan on posting our first "real" episode after the Ybor City Cigar Heritage Festival, on November 15th 2008. We are hoping to get some interviews and reviews for this episode. I currently have posted an introductory podcast which is up on iTunes, so i would appreciate a listen and feed back. I hope to be a busy poster in your forums and thanks for the great place to find information and "fellowship".

Good to have you, Dave. Used to go to college there back in the day (1972-4) and spent most of my days at Clearwater Beach and loved eating at the Kapok Tree ( which isnt there anymore sigh ) Lots of cigar places to visit there and I will be coming there in a month or so. I love Florida in the winter time and will usually travel down to Miami as well. Its fun to visit the old haunts and cigar places up and down the state.
