Re: Newbee

Welcome!

Is Pipe Creek really the name of a town? If so, awesome.

Re: Newbee

Thanks for the kind words guys. Yes, Pipe Creek really is a town. We have a pop. of about 300 and we just got our first traffic light. However, I don't really know anyone in the town. My wife and I moved there about 3 years ago because we wanted to find a nice place to live in the country. But, both of us have jobs out of town so we literally have not met anyone. It is quiet though, a great place to smoke a cigar!

Re: Newbee

Yes! that is exactly right, it is about 12 miles from Bandera. As the tale goes... A white man was smoking his pipe in the woods and a group of Indians came after him, he ran and dropped his pipe near the waters' edge. The Indians did not catch him, but did manage to find his pipe. That of course is how it was told to me. To answer another question, the last cigar I smoked was a Rocky Patel Edge 6x60. I like that one, although, for seven dollars is sometimes doesn't always burn even. However, the draw always seems to be consistent. I tend to like the medium bodied stuff of at least a 48 gauge or larger. I am smoking a pipe right now but I am new to that and as of yet do not enjoy it nearly as much as the cigars. My wife just complains less with the pipe cause she likes the aroma. What was the last smoke yall had?
