They changed the strips back in 91 or so. It's supposed to represent the Top Three, MSgt, 5 down one on top, SMSgt 5 down 2 on top, CMSgt 5 down 3 on top.

While stationed at Lindsey AB in Weisbaden, GE I went to Spangdahulem once. We where there for 3 weeks setting up some antennas. I don't remember the same of the large town by there.

I've killed a lot of brain cells in 24 years.

Damn have I been out that long that I forgot rank? wow! I was stationed with the 81st FS at Spang (A-10s) from 92 to 94. Miss that place. Lots of good times. Bitburg (home of Bitburger beer) was next door. There used to be an air base there. Closed it in 93 or so. I knew every inch of Spang. Cool little base.
