I am a cigar rookie that is looking to learn. I won't lie, I have never had a true Cuban nor can I pay hundreds for boxes of good smokes. BUT I love the enjoyment of a good cigar and here to learn all I can.

I work in banking and real estate. I also write reviews on tequila and work for a distributor as a sales and marketing consultant for Don Valente tequila. Tequila is a true passion of mine and cigars are starting to come up on my list of enjoyable things to do everyday as well. I got married last Saturday and have a 6 month old son. This pretty much sums up my life.

I love to read articles about new brands, I have tried quite a few samplers packs and found some true gems IMHO. I have not found a certain brand or even cigar that is perfect but I have found a few enjoyable ones that I guess you could call my "go to"...one is the Perdomo Lot 23 Robusto, and I also really like the Graycliff 1666 Toro.

Thank you all for the warm welcome. I for one will admit that I will be asking a LOT of questions about. In return, I am all ears if you have questions about tequila. I know this is not a spirits forum but I can offer my advice if you are interested in learning about agave spirits.

JohnnyFlake introduced me to this group and I would like to thank him for that. I hope to make good friends, learn good things, and try new cigars. If you have any advice for a noobie please feel free to share.

Look through the forums. There is at least one thread on Tequila somewhere and there is a section that deals with wine, beer and liquor.
