Hi Ladies! From the GTA and Marco Island, fl.
Just joined!
Just started back enjoying the finer things in life with a box of Monte 4 and 2. More into cars, planes and bikes but loving my return to real cubans. I have a question. I think I over-seasoned my new humidor as it likes to sit at 75% with the humid thingy inside, but it's at 68% or so without. I assume it's ok to just leave it out for awhile? |

Welcome Jamie. Not far away from you when you are on Marco.
Another suggestion for the humidor would be to leave it open if it is in a low humidity environment and let it dry out a little then put the humid thingy back in.

Welcome to the Best Homely House for cigar junkies!
Where you live, you could likely just leave your smokes sitting out on the coffee table and be fine. Take all the humidification media out of your box and let your calibrated hygro sit in there overnight. If it then reads within accepted cigar storage range, stop sweating and fill it up! From what you said in your OP, I think you're fine.

Welcome to Puff. If you over seasoned just let it dry out a bit checking it every few days. 65-68 is ideal. If you have any questions ask.
