Young, Canadian, and learning...
Hey guys,
I was looking around on the internet for websites that will ship cigars from the U.S. to Canada when I found the "Companies that Deliver to Canada" thread which has been quite helpful. Though, I have yet to order any cigars as I need to go pick up my first credit card. A little about me: Well, I live in Ontario, Canada. I've always liked the aroma of a nice cigar, but having just turned the legal age to purchase tobacco products, I had never really got the chance to experiment. I have tried a few sticks and a few of the "mini" cigarillos which never taste nearly as good as the real deal. Just last week, I skeptically purchased a $12.95 + tax Partagas Coronas Senior. (CAD $) [I was going to put a picture of the cigar here, but the post cap won't let me post links or images yet. Understandable for spam.] I admit; I enjoyed the cigar a lot. I found it to be a really smooth and overall nice cigar with more of a solid, singular flavour. However, after taxes it was about $15, not to mention I purchased a second one for a friend. Granted, I'm a newcomer to the cigar world but I feel as though $15 is a little bit on the steep side. (Please correct me if I'm wrong. If you've purchased the same cigar, let me know what you paid!) Hopefully sooner rather than later, I will be purchasing a Xikar Xi3 Tech Cutter along with a bunch of cigars from Atlantic. I've already got the Butane Lighter and some appropriate matches. I currently have a La Aurora Double Corona waiting to be smoked. I wish it was aging properly in a humidor, but I have not purchased one yet. For now, its getting the plastic bag treatment. ![]() I'm sure I'll enjoy my stay here and I look forward to learning and communicating with you guys. I'm open to any suggestions, so fire away! (and yes, I should have gotten a credit card a long time ago so I could have established a good credit rating ) |

Re: Young, Canadian, and learning...
Welcome to puff young brother. Enjoy your stay. I myself have just pulled the trigger on my first order from Atlantic! The prices from an online retailer like atlantic is like 1/5th of what you would pay in a B&M down the road. Be sure to check Team Canada social group!!

Re: Young, Canadian, and learning...
Welcome, I am new to this forum as well. I was told about Cigars International to buy cigars and they have really good prices. Also you can pay with -P-A-Y-P-A-L- which is good if you don't want to use a credit card. Have fun and read a lot of the forum posts. Thats what i have been doing and you learn a lot!
