Hey there ladies and gents! Well, I guess I should start off by saying that I'm actually more of a pipe smoker than a cigar smoker. My grandfather and uncle smoked pipes, and I guess I took after them.

That being said, I do enjoy cigars on a more occasional basis, and I love them when I smoke them so I thought I'd learn a bit more about them. My Dad has always enjoyed fine cigars whenever he had friends or his brothers over, or there was a party, and when I turned eighteen I started smoking them with him. Around the same time, one of my friends started smoking them habitually, so the tradition began that whenever my group of friends got together we'd sit down and smoke cigars together, which is really great.

A great thing about living in NZ is we can go buy Cubans from the stores. Ha ha are you jealous America? We mostly don't smoke them because they tend to be a bit pricey and we're starving students, but we get them for special occasions.

So the other day I was in looking for a new pipe, and I picked up these cheap little flavoured cigarillos, just to see what they were like, and they were DELICIOUS! I've gotta say I'm hooked, it's taking all my self control to keep it down to one a day (I don't smoke frequently, I want to keep my health risks down as much as I can without stopping.) Anyway I was just wondering if anyone who likes cigarillos (and yes I know lots of people don't) could recommend something, hopefully not too pricey, that I might also like considering how much I liked these ones. They are Candlelight Mini Vanilla, I don't know if you can get them in the US, but they're about 5.50 pound in the UK for a tin of ten, and 11 NZ dollars.

Oh one more quick thing, in my efforts to not smoke too many of these, I have been drawing on them unlit through the day. Does anyone know if A) this results in me imbibing nicotine, and B) if it will damage them in some way, or make them taste worse when I smoke them? Or does it not really matter for this quality of cigarillo? I'm careful not to get them damp when I do this, I pull my lips in and hold the end in the dry skin. Makes me look like an idiot, but that's fine.
