I grew up in Jersey in Princeton and nearby. The expression "a one-way ticket to Rahway" was a common cautionary warning since that's NJ's version of San Quentin. Like when I was 18 and a 15 year old girl who looked older, a pal would say "she's a one-way ticket to Rahway."
