Hi all! I've been lurking around here for little while now so I thought I would make things official. I've been into cigars for only a few months, but I really enjoy them. I finally quit cigarettes about a year ago and I can now appreciate a decent cigar. I had tried a couple in the past but I just didn't "get it" at the time. I had a hard time understanding smoking a cigar and not inhaling.....I just didn't see the point. Of course my taste buds were fried at that point too, but things are different now.

I'm still hooked on nicotine but I get it via Swedish Snus now. The best tasting cigar I've had so far would have to be a RP Decade lancero.

I had to go back..I didnt see the update of more posts..but no it was not Father H..but I have enjoyed a smoke with him at this fund raiser he has at the Hilton...I worked there during the time of 2 of his dinners and help set up and smoked with him before.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys!

Shawn that sounds like a plan. I haven't met Father H yet, but I saw him on the news a few times the last couple of years. He is doing a Cigars 101 class with ABC Cigars at Walt's Bar & Grill at Central & Rock on Nov. 2, 9, & 16 from 7-9pm. It costs $20 per session or $50 for all three. I guess they will hand out some cigars each night. I plan on going to meet some new people and learn some stuff hopefully. A couple guys from work might take off and go with me too.
