No don't do that, its just unfortunate that some people knock ring gauge due to differing political opinion vs. whether or not your a good BOTL, which it seems you are. I would just change the avatar, as you mentioned and in a short while I'm sure we'll get to know you and ring gauge will soar once more.

I don't know man, it's gonna be hard to get the respect back from people who were offended by my avatar. I'm an idiot, I should have known from the get-go that half of the forum wouldn't like it. Sometime I just don't think enough before making a decision... like the time I thought it would be a good idea to smoke a cigar backwards.

I wouldn't worry too much about it John. Seems to me, from your few posts, that you are here for the "right reasons" and just from your comments, most recently, in this thread alone, you seem like you'll fit in well here.

I mentioned the politics issue to you because these types of threads often lead to hard feelings among members who aren't usually "combative" with each other on our cigar forum.

I'd take Richard (tzaddi) up on his offer. He can do some wonderful things with pictures!

For what it's worth, as far as the RG...well it looks like you're back on you're feet again, and heading in the right direction.
