Anyone near Chicago?

Well guys I've been a member for a while but just noticed that I never really formally introduced myself to all of you. My name is Chris I first joined when it was clubstogie.com and was mainly a lurker trying to gain information on the hobby back then. Been a cigar lover for a few years and I have come to LOVE this forum and all of you.

I just recently moved to Chicago from PA and, while quitting my job and up right and leaving may sound crazy in this economic state, it is something I needed to do. I needed a change of scenery. I have been getting accustomed to/ looking for a job for the past few weeks and finally starting to get used to city life. Or so I think. One of the big problems though is I was spoiled living in PA. I was in the area of more cigar stores than I could shake a stick at. CI's superstore and FSS store front was twenty minutes away from where I lived.

So what I'm asking is anyone know of any great places/people in the Chicago area to visit? I already checked out Iwan Ries and it was amazing. Truly a great place to visit if any of you are ever near the area. I am always looking for new people to meet and greet so I am greatly appreciative to have found a forum like this one.

Welcome to Chicago. If you are in the city go to jack schwartz. If you want to come out to the burbs there are a few good lounges. Belicoso lounge in orland park is nice and the people are great, Burning Leaf in Plainfield has a huge new lounge, very cool and there selection is always growing. I lilke to go to tobacco plus in matteson, smaller but very nice and quiet
