Hello from Zurich
Hi everyone
It seems that after a year or so of occasional lurking I have finally got around to registering. I'm a relative cigar newbie who over the last few years has gone through stages of smoking one a day to one a month or so and back again - looking back on this now it tends to fall in with the seasons and a Swiss winter is not one for sitting in the back garden with a cigar ![]() Now I smoke a few a week, a mixture of Cubans and non Cubans though the range of non Cubans in Switzerland tends to be quite limited. At the moment I am looking to expand from my desktop humi which is pretty packed (mostly with various robustos, but also a few other things) to some form a cabinet or chest, but this is not the easiest thing to get past the wife who has a bit of a dislike for cigars. Some cigars she does not mind but some others, like the Partagas No2 I was smoking last night, she hates - I suspect I'm not the only one in this position ![]() Thanks for all the info and advice I have gained from the board while lurking, I hope I can contribute some in the future. |

Welcome to CS
I go to CH annually, to Zurich & Biel. Where is the best cigar shop in Zurich to get rare and/or aged cigars? I usually go to the small Davidoff store on Bahnhofstrasse, but they just have current new boxes. My friends don’t want to spend the whole day cigar shopping, although I do . Davidoff mentioned their flagship store down the street, but I either missed it or didn’t walk far enough. I am planning to go in early October, so any info would be a big help. I would like to pick up some of the regional selections or other rarities.
