Welcome to the jungle!
I've only been smoking cigars myself for about a year and a half. Trust me ... it is a slippery slope ... enjoy the slide! Btw, I'm hoping I'll get promoted out of the rookie league soon too ... Try a bunch of different sticks in your price range ... find one you really like before investing the $$$ on a box. I still have some "mistakes" taking up room in my humidor.

Welcome aboard. Stay with the singles until you sample plenty. Take notes - you might find another bargain smoke YOU like better - everybody's tastes are different.
My favorite bargain smoke is the Saint Louis Rey Rothchilde Maduro (less than $50.00/box online) or the Flor de Oliva Original or Corojo ($25.00/bundle online). Have fun! SHOE (Mark)

Hi and welcome. I agree with the all the good advice to keep buying singles for awhile. For what its worth, I still have most of the first box I bought when I began smoking cigars over 4 years ago. I only thought that I liked mild cigars.

Thank you all for the very warm welcome. I will take all your advice and smoke a few sticks before purchasing. And PLEASE be gentle and don't push me down that slope so hard......my credit card won't like all the abuse.
I'm in the Torrance CA area. There are 2 shops around my way, Cigar Emporium and Crown Tobacco. Do any of you BOTL have any experience with them? |
