Dave, that's the 2nd most insiteful thing you've said about CS in a long time (and you've had many insiteful posts).

Reading the stickys in each of the forums shows you are at least trying. Referencing that you have read them and then asking a clarifying question seems pretty reasonable.

I agree again, people are different - hopefully you will meet some people in person and see the character behind the persona.

The best advice is to be friendly. Friendly makes up for many sins. Answering questions and helping folks get started is actually a pleasant experience for many here. The "search Nazis" are in the minority, vocal as they may be. Sure it's there for you to find as many questions have been asked a few times before. But nothing replaces the live interaction of posting. Searching does not help you get to know folks here.

Dave, that's the most insiteful thing you've said about CS in a long time, my man

Me to! It just took a month or so longer.

Did you really say that Dave.....

Great post ronschae4, thanks for taking the time to post it. I don't want to hi-jack your thread too much but I can't let Dave's fine post go to waste. So....first person to post n the "How long was it..." thread and tell me exactly how long it was before Dave asked about Cuban sources, gets a dozen sticks as a prize....one post per day, and it was less that a month I gaurontee.... good luck and happy "search functioning"

fine print: I am the sole judge and I have already calculated out the amount of time it took and that is the number I am looking for. Your first post will be counted, subsequent posts will be ignored until 24 hours have past. The times have been sent to Dave and he will double check my math.
