Talking New Ape joining the jungle...from Socal
Hello my fellow Primates!! I came across CS fairly recently after I started to develop my interest for cigars and there seems to be tons of knowledgeable people on here. I look forward to learning as much as I can from everyone.

Had a quick question if you could be so kind as to answer. I Just purchased my first humi and am eagerly awaiting its arrival . I was wondering with cigars that come in tubes if you remove them from the tubes and place them in the humi? Or do you keep them in the tubes? Is it best to store cigars in a humidor void of any plastic wrappings, bare? I apoligize in advance if my questions are stupid, but I was not sure.

P.S. -I've come into the possesion of some Monte Cristo's, Cohiba's and RyJ's and have been feverishly researching ways to check its authenticity. I will post pictures of them and maybe you guys can help me out.(I sure hope they're real) I thank you guys in advance and appreciate all your comments.

Leave the wrappers on - ditch the tubes. That way you'll have more room in your humi for cigars!!!

Welcome, awaiting your pictures. Some real fine fellers that can help you with an ID around here. I take the cigars out of the tube for storage and save the tubes for short trips.

Much info already on the board about how to store cigars, I like to keep them naked.
