Chiming in from Penn State
Hey guys, I'm going to Penn State now and I've found cigars to be really enjoyable while hanging out at a party with some buddies. I'm originally from Brooklyn, NY. I've been reading posts on here for about a week now and I've learned so much from you guys already. Lately I've only been smoking cigars I'm embarrassed to admit on here (phillies, swisher sweets etc.). I did however smoke a cigar two years ago at a friends birthday party that was awesome, it had a spicy and nutty flavor that I never knew cigars had at the time. Yesterday I went to our local cigar shop to steer away from gas station cigars towards real cigars. The storeowner recommended a Cusano 18 double connecticut for me to try. It was better than what I've been smoking here lately but it still didn't blow me away. It just tasted like any regular cigar, just much smoother. Maybe it was because it was 45* last night or maybe it was because my nose is still stuffed from getting over a cold but it wasn't what I expected from a real handrolled, long-filler cigar. I'm here to learn from you guys and find the cigar that'll just knock my socks off.
