First, let me say thank you to the man you know as Toddzilla for referring me from another non-cigar forum.

Now, down to it.

Name is David, I've lived in the DC area just over two years and I handle money for a living for a public entity. I wish I had more private money to handle, but that's life.

I've enjoyed cigars since I was 18... which has been longer ago than it seems, but I'm still significantly under 40.

I actually got interested in cigars and(other than a few unnammed gas station varieties) my first real cigar was from ISOM when I was overseas right after 18.

I knew nothing then, and won't claim to know anything now, but my current favorites are the Diamond Crown (Maximus and non, but more so for the Maximus), Don Lino Africa, Filipe Dominicana, CAO Brazilia and more so CAO Criollo. I don't smoke all those too often, especially not the DCM, as I like trying anything I can, which is nice because I like getting good deal on samplers online.

Even though my favorites are mostly pretty flavorful cigars that are medium to full bodied, I do appreciate a mild cigar, as long as the flavor is right.

Anyway, like I said, I won't claim to know much, and look forward to learning a ton here. I've read reviews elsewhere and here, and read terms like toasty and leathery and so on, and I know what I imagine that means as far as flavor, but I'd like to actually learn what those mean.

Anyway, thanks ahead of time for the welcome. Let me know if you are in my area. Also, I read about the Chiefs HERF today... wish I could be in KC at that time as I miss watching games with other fans, but I also wish that cigar store was there when I lived in LS... it's pretty much a block from my dad's office!

BTW... my 'zilla name has nothing to do with knowing Toddzilla... in fact it's been my email address for a long time and was created to make fun of another zilla friend.
