What's happening folks! After several weeks of checking out the forums and reading the wealth of information on here I decided to join up. My name's Dan and I reside in Newport News, VA. I started smoking cigars about a month or two ago and have really loved the experience as a whole. I also have a love for craft beer that unfortunately already consumes a nice wad of my cash. That's OK though....I still manage to have a cigar budget...albeit a smaller one. So far I've tried and loved AF 8-5-8 Flor la Fina, Padron 2000 (regular), Padron Londres, Punch Gran Puro and EMS Elite, and LGC Series R. I like mild to medium smokes and am beginning to enjoy the heavier stuff. My cigar budget for a week is generally $15-$20. What I'd like is a suggestion on something in the $3 or less range like Pad. Londres, but maybe slightly more flavorful or tastier than an AF Curly Head. Any other suggestions are appreciated. Look forward to enjoying and furthering my hobby on this site. Later!

FNG from Virginny, huh. Well all I gots to say to you is welcome aboard and if you ever get a chance to go to a local herf, you'd be a fool to miss it. There's some good peoples in VA on this board. Do some research to find some cheap smokes by looking at what TxMatt has to say about good smokes. Off the top of my head I'd say to look into some Nestors Reseve and Rocky Patel smokes.

Welcome to the jungle. There area ton of cigars in that price range. The patels are great, lower end fuentes, padrons 2000-you also might want to try some bundles.
