Welcome from another Midwesterner! One thing us Illinoisans and Wisconsonians can agree on is a good cigar. Great intro as well, I started at age 15 too and havent looked back!

Just wanted to thank everyone for the warm welcome. I'm already thinking about the possibilities for a January Wi based herf.

CeeDee- we can't have any partisanship when trying to promote the beautiful game here in US so I'll happily overlook the ManU ... issue.

omowasu- "One thing us Illinoisans and Wisconsonians can agree on is a good cigar." Being a native Minnesotian transplanted to Wi, from what I can see a good cigar is about all Illinoisans and Wisconsonians can agree on. I try to be tri-cultural and enjoy the best of all worlds.

Definitley. I belong to the Elks club in Madison and they

a. allow smoking

b. have cheap drinks

c. have a separate game room downstairs with two poker tables and two pool tables (and no blue hairs complaing about smoking at the bar)

can't happen until after the new year though. Heading out to San Francisco for a week to see my parents for Christmas.
