Should start with a quick hello. Hello. Thanks for having this forum.

Started smoking cigars when I was about 15. My dad owned a tobacco shop and I used to sneak a few good cigars from his humidor on occasion. I quickly garnered a taste for the real thing and have been a fan of a good stick ever since. Went through a phase of loving dark and spicy smokes. Maduro maduros were a favorite. I travelled quite a bit and got to try a couple cubanos in Europe, Canada and the Carribbian. Never tried bringing any back. The highlight of my cigar history was a trip to the Padron rolling factory in Miami Fl in 1992 ish.

Took a few years off of smoking for a number of reasons and just came back to it recently. Since I started again a maduro maduro is to strong for me and I have been enjoying naturals. I find the affordability of cigars on the internet makes the idea of having a humidor with a stock of sticks to be a much more reasonable endeavor. Wisconsin has ridiculous taxes. Have a small jarador (sp) with about 20 sticks from a couple of internet samplers which is getting me fired up about getting a real humidor. Thats my story.


Other than that I love sports. I'm a Vikings & Gopher fan in Packer & Badger country. I support Liverpool football (seen a couple of other fans on the board) I played rugby for about 15 years. Love good food and spirits of all kinds. Love good wine even sold it for a while. I love the no snob motto. To me good just means you like it not some specification that lets any persons taste let them think they are superior. This board looks like a cool community and amazing resource. I have already mastered the "search button" and read most of the noobie guides. I'm looking forward to gaining wisdom from the elder gorillas.

Madison is a great town. Been here 10 years and it has been really good to me. I respect the Pack as a class organization and support the Badgers when they aren't in direct competion with Gophers. Which is not often since Mn is bad at Basketball and Football. Hocky on the other hand is tough. I forgot to mention I am a huge college hockey fan. I can't complain 3 of the last 5 years a team I support has been national champs.
