while I was growing up my father and late uncle were avid pipe smokers... this was my first introduction to tobacco. Anyway... when they were ready to go outside and smoke their pipes...they'd always say to each other.."it's Light-up time"... i'd go out and sit with them... enjoy the conversation...and especially enjoy the aroma of their pipes. It kinda stuck with me over the years... I always think of them right before I "light up"... good times...good memories...

I am icehog3 as a combination of two of my passions, playing hockey and riding Harleys. An icehog can be someone who never wants to come off the ice as well. The #3 has been my number on all the teams I have played for over the years. You can call me hog for short, or "icepig" if you prefer....

I go to LSU and I love Stogies haha, my real name is Mackey...my grandfather was called mackey because of our last name (Macaluso) at Exxon Refinery and he died of prostate cancer before my parents were married, so they decided to call me Mackey instead of my legal name, Mark, ever since I was born.
