Did this a while back but it needed some revision...

Mine's easy enough. Pipes are one of my favorite things in life- just sitting down and enjoying a smoke, talking to you guys on here about them, trying out new tobaccos and enjoying the tried and true favorites, and finally no matter where I go being able to find a shop and instantly being able to shoot the shit with the guys in there.

The GOP- Grand Old Party. Personally I'm best summed up as an independent conservative and am ashamed to have the GOP in my user-name right now. Haven't had the best luck with being in line with the way most republicans think these days , with hoping for either Tancredo, Keyes, or Paul to be our nominee for '08. Who knows, maybe they'll actually grow some balls and actually SHOW some conservative ideals? Until then just replace the GOP in the name with 'conservative in exile', more in agreement with Dr. Michael Savage than I am with anyone in the GOP leadership and am sick of it.

Mine's just been going on since I got my first email address 12-13 years ago. It was the first three letters of first & last names. Simple and boring as that

I used to ride bulls for fun. When I hit my first BBS (yes I said BBS and I had to dial in with 14k modem) it was the best I could come up with. It has stuck with me ever since.

In my line of work, I've told a few people that I will "Kick you to sleep" so it kinda stuck....

I love the length, ring gauge size and amount of time to smoke these heaters. Wonderful full bodied cigars!

Re: Whats the story behind everyones member name?

Nickname I got from a fellow employee way too many years ago to remember. Still answer to it... Never seems to be used up on the boards I'm on unless, like this one I'm on all of the boards that were combined.....

Re: Whats the story behind everyones member name?

Heh, long story short- Spent a couple of months living out of the saddlebags on my motorcycle, doing the whole teen-age "finding myself" thing. A man who had given me directions had called me a vagrant, and a couple of my buddies that were with me didn't know what it meant, and started using it as a nickname for me. It stuck. I only know around five people who still call me Mike outside of Puff, and my places of employment. Around the same time, I got a tattoo of the nickname on the left side of my chest. Looks kinda like a nametag.

Anyways, it's been my alias both online and in-person for a couple of years now.

Re: Whats the story behind everyones member name?

Well, Roy is my first name and the "hubb" is the first four letters of my last name which is Hubble ( yes like the telescope) and I just added the s to make it plural.

Old fraternity chapter designation...it was much shorter than either my e-mail address or screen name.

Re: Whats the story behind everyones member name?

I've used the name for years...I'm an audio nut. My main speakers are a pair of klf-20's that weigh 100 lb each, connected with a pair of 12' bi-wired MITerminator2's (they really mellow the horns...).

Re: Whats the story behind everyones member name?

One of my favorite movies of all times. Top 5.

David Lynch's "Wild at Heart" with Nicholas Cage & Laura Dern.

There's a character (one of many, many 'characters' in the film) named Mr. Reindeer who is a problem solver and he's hired to orchestrate the murder of Nicholas Cage's character, Sailor. Mr. Reindeer's name just always kinda stood out to me. That, and that he was a problem solver. For every 'problem', it costs a silver dollar to fix.

So it was either going to be Mr. Reindeer or Mr. Marcello Santos, the actual hitman who is hired by Mr. Reindeer.

But I just kinda liked Mr. Reindeer so it stuck.

And for some reason, I just kinda like mrreindeer....all jumbled together, no-caps, no space. And that's why I might call you mrwhatevermacallit.

Re: Whats the story behind everyones member name?

It's from The Hunchback of Notre-Dame the main character whos name I didnt spell correctly. The name in it's current form is also a hip-hop artist but that's a coincidence
