Whats the story behind everyones member name?

Hey Everybody!
First time post.
Been hang'in in the trees for a while watching the the gorillas go by. Though this would be a good time to jump in. A little history. Been smoking cigars now for 3-4 years. As far as taste, so far I like just about everything I've smoked. I'm easy that way. At present I have 2 end table cabinets, 3 desk top humidors and a coolador all full of cigars. My member name is the name of one of my 5 Amazon parrots. Moco is the only one I was able to raise from "birth".
Anyway, really COOL board. Glad I found you ape's. Hope I can add a little something interesting every once in a while.

From hence forth I shall be known as "MOCOBIRD" thx's!

floydp and MocoBird, welcome to the jungle. Hey MocoBird, another gorilla here goes by the handle 'edisonbird,' because he has a parrot named Edison. Not sure if Edison is an Amazon parrot, or what. Edisonbird isn't posting much these days, but thought you'd be interested to know.

Mine is pretty simple. Enya is my favorite singer so therefore I am an Enyafan. Plus with all of the people at herfs named James or Jim, it is easier for someone to call me Enya. Kinda makes it easier to get my attention.

I use WillyGT because all my family has called me Willy since always, and i like it :P. And the GT is because of the car i had (Mustang GT 90) and the one I have ( Celica GT 92).

No creativity with mine either. I'm a groundskeeper. There are a lot of oak trees where I work. I'm rather fond of the oak savannas in the upper midwest at the edge of the prairie. The oak savanna is a characteristic of the place that will always be home to me. I even have a little oak sapling as a house plant (probably not the best thing for it but with all the gypsy moth trouble around, I really don't feel like putting it outside). I happened to study a little German in college. Someone else on another board was called Oak already so I just translated it to German. Oh well. I just realized that I choose the plural instead of the singular (by mistake). Like I said ... a little German -- enough to get me in trouble.

Don't feel too bad about that...uh, game people like us play. I'm a card-carrying geek, meaning I do or will play D&D and Magic whenever I feel so inclined..and I've got a government issued nerd license that officially identifies me as registered nerd KB3JFK.

First of all I am new to the site, I just found it yesterday. So I look forward to learning about cigars. Now as for my members name, I am in the US Navy. The first four years I was (and always will be) a MM2(SW). A Machinist Mate Surface Warfare Specialest Second Class. And the S is for my first/last initials Steve Smith. Now that I have transfred to the US Navy Reserves, I am a photographer (PH2(SW)), they had no MM billets available. But hopefully after I finish my degree I will be going back to active duty and be back down in the pit with rest of the snipes.

Another Navy guy here, a Master Chief Petty Officer. Goat Locker is an old slang term for the Chief Petty Officer's Mess, the place on a USN ship where all us old goats eat, drink coffee, relax, b.s. etc. Way back, we could smoke a stogie in there too... Goat Locker is also the name of my boat.
