Re: Whats the story behind everyones member name?

Good idea for a thread. My wife is Danish, she says my cigars make me stink. Stinkdyr is the Danish word for skunk...literal translation is "stink animal." so, there ya go!

I absolutely LOVE BMWs. Bought my first one (a black 2000 325i 5-spd) back in 2002 and have been addicted ever since. Can't really afford them, but lucky for me I don't mind buying pre-owned! Tip: don't test-drive one unless you're ready to keep buying them forever.

Baba - means old man or father - I am over the hill and picking up speed - so it probably fits.

Re: Whats the story behind everyones member name?

I wanted something "death-y" sounding back in my days playing Ultima Online over a decade back, and started using it on forums. Seems kinda strange to switch it now and I'm not creative enough to come up with a new one.

Re: Whats the story behind everyones member name?

When I first got a computer and went online I had AOL. In trying to create a user name, AOL gave me many variations and "DSturg" was one. "3" being my fav number, x2 and x3. That's about it.

Now if you ask my Wife, she'll swear that the latter two numbers are code to my many 'net girlfriends.

Re: Whats the story behind everyones member name?

Well a few years back I was pulled into the office and told that I wasn't the most polite person when dealing with my peers, subordinates and superiors when voicing my opinion. I was then coined by one of the sailors as the "rude JARHEAD". Rude for my disposition and Jarhead as a slang for Marine which at the time was meant to be derogatory. I thought the name was fitting and have used it ever since.

Re: Whats the story behind everyones member name?

Back in the punk rock days of high school. Me and some buddies had a 'zine crew that published a glue 'n xerox zine for the local music scene. We were trying out multiple ways for homemade patches to represent the zine. One idea was to sharpie out the logo and then stain the cloth with juice. This did not work out so well, but I sported the patch on my hoodie anyway. Thus the "Juicestain" nickname was born. Also frequently shortened to just "Juice"

Re: Whats the story behind everyones member name?

While creating a user name a few years back, all the nick names I had where taken. I had a pretty painful cut along the side of my finger nail, figured that hangnail was taken, a low and behold, it was not, so rather than try and keep up with many different user names, i keep it simple.

not the best name, but strangely it is available on all forums i visit
