Well, I am pretty huge Hunter S. Thompson fan so the story behind my name goes a little something like this:

I read Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas and then saw the most excellent film based on that book. It was after this I learned as much as I could about Hunter S. Thompson that I could, I even learned that he lived in Colorado and has a very large estate that is still there to this day. Like H.P. Lovecraft, Hunter was a wonderful writer and an interesting and fascinating person, and it is always the most fascinating people who don't get their credit's due until they are gone.

Anyway, Royale Duke is not only my nickname in real life(my other nickname is FATMAN) it is also my Pen Name when I wish to write things under a different name(my last name is italian and is therefore complicated LOL) and is my "Alter Ego" much like Raoul Duke(Whom Hunter used as his pen name and alternate identity) is Hunter S. Thompson's "Alter Ego".

Anyway, that is the origin of my name, quite Elementary Dear Watson.
