In College I played MUDS(Multi User Dungeons) a precurser to todays MMORPG's(Massively Mulitplayer Online Role Playing Game). My friend had been playing this particular MUD for quite some time and convinced me to join him.

Having the luck that I do ( Screw lineage or genetics if Irish are lucky then I am ANTI-Irish not sure what race that would be but thats mine) I named my starting character Barney after Barney Fife from the Andy Griffin show because I fully expected him to be pathetically weak.

As luck would have it I had an amazing roll and he started out incredibly strong, whats more no one recongized the reference and thought of the damn purple dinosaur Barney which had never occured to me. Consequently EVERYONE wanted to kill me(it was a Player Killer mud). I loved all the negative attention plus the fact I had an innate advantage over most of my would be enemies made for some interesting times.

In the end when I stopped playing they decided to make a MOB named Barney that resembled a Dino so that one could always enjoy a battle with Barney.

Man I am an UBER GEEK.

Hollywood. Been in the theatre and a couple commercials. Seems like so long ago!! I'm also a little high maintenance ... supposedly because I drive a Saab and wear Armani!?! What kind of stereotyping is that!?!

Speaking of stereotyping, I live in So Cal and my mental picture of Missouri is based on a visit to Springfield and Branson. A guy in a Saab with an Armani suit in Missouri dropping ya'lls doesn't fit the picture

You know; the more I think about it; the more I realize ... I am such a fish out of water here!!! I'm not a high falutin' snob or nothing; but damn I am SURROUNDED by those exact people we make fun of. There are certainly parts of the woods, not far from here, where we don't venture in to.

One of my other hobbies is working on cars and I restored a 1986 Jaguar XJ6 that I show in car shows. Jaguars are made in Coventry, England and are sometimes refered to as "Coventry Cats".

This was a screen name I use in the Yahoo game rooms when I play hearts and when I signed up at my first cigar board (CigarPass) I used this name and so that people know me as I travel around to other cigars boards (gee, like ClubStogie) people will be able to recognize me from other boards.

I've never been there so the mental picture I have of Missouri is largely shaped by the movie Waiting For Guffman.
