Don't buy any "Cuban cigars" in Mexico unless you are at a La Casa del Habano store. Tijuana has one I belive. |

Did anyone get any RyJ cigars from this deal?

Re: newb from Plano, TX
Depends on you budget. I would try at least a dozen different cigars before I bought a box myself. Should hit the major countries of origin Nicaraguan & Honduran at least. Also try a couple different wrapper types for sure Maduro, Natural & Cameroon. I would encourage Sumatran, Sun-Grown, & Corojo as well. Last but not least at least 2-3 size/shapes to get a sense of what you really like. Oh did I forget to mention brands... The thing is you have liked about everything you have tried. You keep trying a some variation and then you will hit one you love. You'll say "Wow! I have never had anything like this before!" run out and buy a box and be really satisfied with it. Otherwise after about your fourth one you will say well at least I can give these to my friends as you start looking for something else. That is my experience at least. To top it off the trying the variety is a lot of fun.

I kinda went crazy on cbid
I bid on some RyJs in a 12 cigar sampler with an ashtray for $40 and won. I also bid on a 20 cigar torano sampler for $51 and won. Spent $91 total. I guess they go for $59 and $69 normally on Cigarsinternationals site normally. I don't know if I did well or not? Hope I did and I hope I got some good smokes. Anyone know anything about the Toranos? I just took a shot in the dark. Is any of the stuff I got something someone might want to trade for? I'm just interested in getting a little more of a variety to start.
