newb from Plano, TX
Just mail ordered me a humidor and I got about 10 cigars in a sampler. So far I smoked the Puros Indios vintage 1999. Wasn't too bad. I really haven't smoked that many cigars, but most of the non grocery store sticks I liked. My local cigar shop recommended the Romeo Y Julieta reserva real. That was a good cigar too. Now I got to figure out if I should just order a box of the ones I liked so far or should I do more samplers? Where should I be getting the best deals on my cigars as well?

What local cigar store are you visiting? RUN to Two Brothers at 14th and Avenue K and forget any other "cigar store" in Plano. Actually I am kidding - there are some other decent stores in Plano but Two Brothers is the best. Rick and/or Gary can get you squared away.

I recommend you smoke more singles before buying a box, especially a cigar as expensive as RyJ Reserva Real; there are better cigars that cost much less IMHO.

Also you may want to try some of the cigars in my Cheap cigar thread linked in my signature. Here you can find some great bang for the buck.
