Welcome. I just signed up for this group and I think I may have found a home. Nice folks, lots of cigar content, good moderation. Most of these youngsters smoke way fancier cigars than I do (or could probably afford) but I still enjoy reading about all of the different cigars available.

I participated in ASC in 97 for a little bit. I tried to do so more recently but the spam/pedophile ratio to good posts was just too much. I couldn't keep my spam filters undated quick enough. I much prefer this groups' "mechanics" as opposed to newsgroups and other designs of forums. It's a big plus to be able to go to "first unread". A real time saver. And, no spam/etc. What more could a guy want?

Before ASC in 1997, I participated a bit in the Compuserve cigar forum. There were a lot of good folks on that group, too.

Three was that guy in SOCal with a helluva humidor.....Poker..lol Gellman is in Houston now, Father Mullaney ( of course there also was Sandy) Egg and a bunch of others....some are still around and I sometimes check ASC...but it really has changed not as much fun. I think you'll like it here. Much quieter.
