Welcome to CS.

Personally, I like to soak my cigars in gasoline and toast them with an M80. I get the most bang for my buck that way.

Nah, but seriously I use a torch and toast the foot without actually letting the flame touch the foot. When it start to glow I start puffing away.

I like and use a tourch. This works the quickest to toast the end and then a good puff to get a flame at the end going.

If a tourch lighter is not available, matches work fine but you really have to work at it to toast the end and get the cigar burning well.
