Re: What Type of Lite

I stare at mine until they spontaneously combust but it doesn't always work so to back that up, I use a torch. I also have a butane soft-flame and if I am at a good B&M I will use a cedar spill.

That's my preference as well.

PB-207

Though, to be honest, I'll use a magnifying glass and sun rays in pinch if need be.

Re: What Type of Lite

Fire is fire. Just don't use Zippo type fuel/lighters.
I prefer a torch with a big flame.

hello again freaky,

i torch mine usually, but sometimes i use cigar maches... not preferring the matches with sulphur, because it ruins the taste...

Re: What Type of Lite

Choices in this order

1. Matches
2 Blazer Torch
3. Bic Lighter

It all depends on were I am and if its windy as to what I am using. But matches is my first choice.

Torch most of the time. Bic only if no other alternative.

Re: What Type of Lite

If you use matches at least give the toasting method a try. I didnt think there would be much difference but I got a 4 dollar ronson last week and Ive been toasting since then and to me its seems like the sticks are burning a little cooler than when I was using matches and puffing away. For 4 bucks its a worthy experiment and if ya ever need to light up in a hurricane youll be set!
