I was on the USS Bluefish from 1978 - 81 and at that time a carton of cigs was about $3.25 at the PX.

The submarine has very good filters and air scrubbers and the air is actually cleaner than most cities. They even control the O2 levels so there is no worry about lighting up.

Nothing better than sitting on your 0000 - 0400 watch with a cigar to keep you company.

Hey Dave, What cigar shops do you frequent in Richmond? I think most people go to Havana COnnections, but I go to Old Virginia Tobbaco most often because of its proximity to where I live.

I use to work closer to Old Virginia, but my office moved last August to the west end and I have not been back since.

The good news is I now have 3 B & M's within 5 minutes from work.

Havana Connections at short pump, Island Tobacco just off of broad and another cigar store across the street from Hooters on Broad street. (I forget the name)

I also go by a private stock on my way home.

Island is probably my favorite but I mostly buy on the internet. I should plan on going back to old virginia some lunch time when my boss id out of town.

We need a central VA HERF...!!!!!!
