Hello All
Hey I'm Paul, I'm 22 and I'm new to the cigar world, in fact, all I've smoked is some davidoff mini cigarillos. I'm recently married and have a baby coming in july, I work as a doorman on park avenue but i want to work for the FDNY someday. I like the idea of relaxing with a nice cigar on the weekend, after work, or whenever the mood strikes, and I look forward to my first cigar! Ive been looking around for a couple days now but still if anyone has some suggestions for a very first cigar, let me know!

Welcome and congrats!

my personal experience ,though limited, would lead me to recommend:

sweet cigar - CAO or Acid - lots of flavor variety
mild cigar - Montecristo white label
medium/full - RP Vintage, Indian Tabac Fire, Punch
Full - Red cloud limited reserve (only one I've tried that I would say is Full)

Paul, welcome to Clubstogie. I'm sure those Davidoff cigarillos are mighty tasty. I smoke the long Panatelas from time to time. If you enjoy the cigarillos, I would suggest starting off with something a little mild.

If I were in New York, I think I'd visit De La Concha or the Davidoff Store for a first smoke recommendation. I'm sure the store operators will have some great suggestions for you.
