Doogie... I'd love to know more about your Brothers of the Tobacco Leaf. I live about 30 min away, I think, and have been meaning to check that shop out for some time now. If you get this in time, let me know if you think it'd be a good place to watch the Giants game this afternoon (or the Cowboys game if that would better ingratiate me with the locals).

whoops, I think theres been a misunderstanding - my dad passed away last year, actually, I just posted a thread in honor of his 1 year death anniversary. thanks for suggesting that, that was very kind I'll be there on the 26!

If I don't have to work I might be able to make it to Florios. I went there about a month ago as all the uptown stores were closed and I knew I'd be able to have a late night smoke there. Their cigars are overpriced and in terrible shape though so make sure you guys carry your own to the herf.

Thanks, I'd love to come. There had been some talk about going away that weekend, some sort of romantic escape with my wife, trying to rekindle the flames of our marriage. But how does that compare with smoking a bunch of cigars in a room full of people I don't know.

I am in the city all the time.....will try to make it as well.......Gotham is a great place for a stick as well......as is the Grand Havana Room and Merchants.......NYC has really cracked down on smoking but there are still some great places to enjoy good convo and a nice cigar.......
