Tatuaje Havana VI Exclusivo Lado Occidental, Verocu No. 1

Wow!

I think the Havana VI is good, but Pete from Tatuaje was right when he said this bad boy was like the VI on steroids.

The triple cap is always impressively done and oscuro wrapper is aestetically pleasing.

Firm to the touch, but the draw wasn't hindered by the tight wrap.

Smoking: I was immediately impressed by the addition of the Ligero filler, which is a great addition to an already great blend. The cigar stayed consistently medium to full-bodied for the first 2/3 and got slighty milder coming around 3rd base.

I was receiving spicy aromas with an occasional gingery goodness thrown in as well as some earthy tones.

A very impressive blend. If you can get ahold of one of these it's worth getting more than one.

I'd give it a 95/100 and I'll definitely be searching for more.

Good to hear you liked 'em. I picked up a few of the so-called Zona del Este version and look forward to firing one up in the not-too-distant future. Sounds really nice -- thanks for the review!

Just picked one up last week.

I will add my quick review

Beautiful wrapper with a rich prelight aroma. Good draw on the first cut. I found this cigar to be spicy throughout, but very consitant, not growing or diminishing in strength as I went. Good flavor, leather, perhapes a little floral but nothing that could be mistaken for sweetness, agree with the earth-like undertone. I would liken the flavor to smoking a Noella (brown label) in a larger RG.

Burn and ash (see picture) were a little iffy, but I lit this right after I bought it, and smoked it outside on a windy day, so I will give it a pass there.

Great smoke volume, smoking time was just under two hours.

I will give this a 8.5 out of 10, or 90 out of 100 using Brit's scale, probably better with a little age, $10/stick is a little high for this cigar in my opinion.

Sorry not the best pics, didn't use my usual camera.
