After reading your review, I bought a bundle. Was a little disappointed at first look. Short filler, factory sealed cello wrapper, rough appearance. Had a fight unwrapping first one (stubby fingers, short nails, didn't have a knife handy). Snipped the end with a v cutter. Cap came off with the cut, but didn't cause a problem. Lit it up. Easy draw. Perfect burn. Lots of smoke. Pleasant flavor, touch of sweetness, fruit? This is the perfect mild cigar to give to people who rarely smoke and goes well for me with my mid morning coffee. I will buy again.

Thumbs up Re: Review Taboo Factory Value Blend #1 6" X 48

Alrighty, having smoked two of these now, I think I'm due for a review. This is one of the first times, and its not super fresh, since I smoked it sunday, so bear with me.

My first experience with this cigar was pretty good. Upon receiving these in the mail, the first thing I noticed was the rather plain appearance. This didn't detract me, upon reading on the reviews, plus hey, they're 20 buck smokes. I lit one up later the day and it seemed to be a bit harsh, somewhat like smoking a black and mild. However, the taste was excellent. The burn was very well and actually pretty even and produced large amounts of smokes.

The second time I smoked this was this last sunday. Every sunday, we have a family get together where we barbeque and kick back and smoke a few stogies, atleast me and my uncle. I brought two of these, a perdermo cabinet reserve and a lot 23. I lit this one up slightly before the first wave of brisket as a quick smoke.

Boy was I surprised. All the harshness that was in the first cigar was completely gone and the cigar was amazing. I tasted the fruit hint, along with a slightly earthy taste as well. I can't tell you how many times I stopped and told my uncle how impressed I was with the cigar. I smoked it until the very nub and lit the other one right up after I ate, bypassing the rest of my cigars.

Overall, for the price(19.99), these are a steal. I went into this foray looking for a nice cheaper smoke to have here and there and have found myself a great everyday cigar I can smoke quickly for a great price. I didn't have huge huge expectations running into this cigar when I first placed the order, however they have been far surpassed. Great smoke, great draw, great burn. I will be buying these again, along with some of Rob's other cigars.

Also, credit goes to Rob for his fast customer service. I placed the order on a sunday night and had the cigars Tuesday afternoon. Packaged extremely well also, very good protection, even for the cheaper sticks. Kudos to Taboo cigars.

I have some of these on their way from Texas. They should be in tomorrow. I'm looking forward to finding a cheap cigar that actually tastes good. I like a majority of the other Taboo blends, so I'm sure I will enjoy this one too.
