Richard that is one kick a.. creative piece of work! I've looked at it 5 times already. Its kind of a 3D cigar jigsaw puzzle.I'll bet if you sent this to Pete he would give you another cigar. Probably an entire box! Great work. Jerry

Thanks Jerry. I am not one to turn down a free cigar or a box for that matter.

Sounds like you enjoyed it as much as I did putting it together.

Re: Tatuaje Havana VI Angeles Deconstructed

Thanks tzaddi, great stuff!

Fitting that I tried my first Tatuaje this evening. Picked up a couple brown label Havana Cazadores on the way home. Awesome smoke, really set me back, even after a big dinner. Draw was a bit tight(I attribute this from being straight off the shelf) but overall I was blown away by the strength, flavor, and construction of this cigar. The second will sit for awhile. I see many more of these in my future. I will add some Havana VI's to my shopping list.

Nice pics too, lighting be damned. What camera are you shooting with?

Thanks again,

JRM

I've always wanted to do that, now I don't have to.

Thank you, that kind sir is a 4 year old Sony DSC F717 with 5MP. I am squeezing every last drop out of it before I get a new one. It's the Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar lens that pulls it off. Enjoy those cigars and thanks for stopping by.

Very Cool. I'm on a Canon powershot A95 right now and have just started exploring manual mode I'll post up some pics soon.

Back to cigar talk, I'm done for the night. Have a good one and thanks for the info.

Thumbs up Re: Tatuaje Havana VI Angeles Deconstructed

First of all sorry for drudging up this old post.

I wanted to say that I LOVE THIS whenever I get new to me cigars I like to dissect one to see how they are made, although sometimes I cannot afford to do so. I wish people were willing to destroy a cigar to show how well or how bad the cigar has been made. Some have a great filler and others have crappy filler which you can only see with a dissection. I wish all makers removed the center vein on their filler leaves although most don't. That is the first thing I look for as it is almost seclusive to Cubans. It's too bad because it makes for a great smoke and adds only one extra step.

Thanks for doing this and I encourage others to post pics if they dissect a cigar to it doesn't just go to waste as a picture is worth a thousand words. This way others can see without having to do it themselves if it has already been done. I have had a good cigar that have been ruined from terribly large center veins left in the filler and I hate it. Thank you sooo much for this and I hope to see this again, from other users (I need a digital camera so I can post my dissections I will soon and before then I will try to borrow before I get one if I dissect one before my purchase.) All I have left to say is thank you soo much for this

Re: Tatuaje Havana VI Angeles Deconstructed

As the humble OP of this thread I respectfully request that it be closed to any future posts.

Let me make it clear, this is not a swan song nor a retreat… more like a phoenix

I look forward to creating new threads that will hopefully provide stimulating conversation and inspired thought.

It is time to turn the page and see where the next chapter will take us.

The joy that I have received through these simple words and photos remains multiplied by the number of hearts and minds that pass this way.

As always my PM door is open to any questions.
