2006 AF Anejo Shark 77 Review !

Just finished smoking my first Anejo 77 Shark. What can I say about this...hmm, Complex taste, Opus X Strong, One of the best I smoked! The Cigar didn't let me know !

Figured I'd smoke one because I'm returning back to work, so what better way to send my "vacation". Stored @ 60/65

The Construction: 10/10
Veins: 10/10
Color:10/10
(pre lit): 10/10 Smelled like chocolate/toffee
Ash: 9/10

First part: Clipped off the end, inspected it, wow, this is one fine cigar.

First 1/3: Black Licorce (inital), spicy. After that it was pretty much heaven....Nutty, Chocolate Flavored. Aroma was Tofee. Creamy, tasted like I was drinking A nice cup of Joe. Very flavorful. Nice draw, simply...smooth

Half point: Strawberry, Creamy, Nutty, very smooth. Some parts didnt have flavor yet draw and flavor was there.

Last 1/3 till the end: Creamy, Spicy, Black licorce, flavor of hints of toffee, Nutty.

Overall: Excellent smoke, if you ever get the chance, and i know the holidays are coming up, SMOKE one...this is up to par if not a bit better then the Opus X. Different Taste then the Padrons. Toward the end till now, Good smoking buzz from the nicotine, not as strong as a LFD or LGC. Too bad the smoke had to end...i wish it didn't. Would go well nice with a nice cup of coffee or starbucks..Enjoy !

would I buy it again? Indeed sir./maybe not @$25.00 a pop what i've been buying but for a 1 time Ocassion. Now, time to rest for work hahaha

Dead on review. I love them for the same reasons. I have only had 2 and both of them have been exactly what you just described. Great job!!!

Nice pics with the review. Hard cigars to purchase, not many vendors have them.

Re: 2006 AF Anejo Shark 77 Review !

i'm glad you've had better luck with the shark - i've smoked two from last year's christmas release and both have been less than whelming. rather harsh and very bad burn. the 46s, 48s and robusto (is that a 50?) i've had have been much, much better.

You know I had the same experience w/ the shark. Beautiful smoke, but I had better experience with the 55's, 48's and the 46. then again, I haven't had the chance to smoke more than one, but the season is almost near us.

Re: 2006 AF Anejo Shark 77 Review !

Is there any reason why these things are seasonal?

yes. fuente likes to create a "false market" (or whatever) with all this sort've hyper-scarcity around their product. i don't get it, myself.
