My 1st order arrived from New Havana Cigars (Guapos) --> VERY PLEASED!

Online site review: I've purchased from many vendors over the years. In this industry I think customer service is the single most important component in a successful cigar business. I recently ordered cigars from 4 vendors; 2 newer sites and 2 established sites. I have to say that New Havana Cigars is a hell of an online store. They're quick in replying to emails, offer very competitive pricing and MOST IMPORTANTLY they packaged their cigars with 5-star treatment. My cigars were vacuum sealed with a HumidiPak (crucial since I'm in the Atlanta area), packaged with peanut and bubble wrap (higher quality air packs), and arrived fresh. Thank guys! Now onto my impressions on the order, the Cabaiguan Guapos.

Cigar review: What a great cigar. Although I prefer cigars in the 38-46 ring gauge the Guapos really offered tremendous flavor. All the sticks were uniform in wrapper color/quality and smelled tremendous out of the box. The draw was easy with copious amounts of smoke. I didn't need to relight it once and the burn was nice and even till the last 1/3rd. The ash was white until the last 1/3rd as well where it turned gray. This cigars flavor is probably the strongest out of the entire Cabaiguan line although not close to the Tatuaje. I'm not sure how well they'll age since it really isn't a dark cigar but it would be interesting to see if they change in quality over time.

90 point overall

I had one while intoxicated, so I THINK it was a great smoke. Good thing I have a couple more waiting to try that have been resting. May do that this weekend.

I also have to say this is one great vendor. They will get all of my Tat purchases in the future.

a strong second on what an excellent vendor new havana is. if you are interested in trying tats, cabs, illusiones or some really cool sampler packs, no place will pack them and take care of you better.

Re: My 1st order arrived from New Havana Cigars (Guapos) --> VERY PLEASED!

One more thing about the Guapos. While smoking the cigar through the nose/sinus I found it to be a bit harsh. This usually isn't the case for the regular Cabaiguan cigars. I feel that the Guapo's blend will age much better than the regular Cabaiguan line because of this. I've noticed that aged cigars have a rich tobacco flavor but blow out smoother through the nose. Hopefully these Guapos age nice.
