Diamond Crown Pyramid #7 Maduro Review
This is not a review, but rather an impression.
I picked up a sample fiver of these to try. They're a large 6 3/4 x 54 smoke that last a good two hours. The dark maduro wrapper is typical of this type of cigar. The construction and burn are first rate. The taste has all the usual stuff...spice, earthy, chocolate... heck, I'm just repeating what I've read here but they do have a nice maduro flavor. I like this cigar. The problem however, in a blind taste test, I would have a hard time telling it apart from my usual smoke...ERDM Robusto Larga. I come away with this thought. This is a good cigar, but at 4 times the price of the ERDM, I'll probably pass in the future. Since I'm basically cheap, the value just isn't there. Larry |
