Creole Review

Background: Received two smokes from Brad (thats Darb backwards ) today. He wrote that he wanted to hear bout the creole so here it is: talk about fast service.

Prelight:

Nothing too special to write about. Upon cutting it, it unraveled! eek.... this was probably helped out by my exacto-knife cutting skills....maybe I should buy a cutter. However, havent had any others unravel so who knows?

lighting:

Lit this one up with a cup of coffee while out to dinner with some friends. It was slow to light but I think I am going to attribute that to its mailing (92% humidity recently down here!) It burned evenly througout though it seemed to die down dangerously close a few times I set it down for a bit. It did die out about 3/4 of the way down but as we were leaving I left it.

Taste:

It started out allright, with that fresh chinchales taste. Very reminescent of the cigar cigma-chi sent me. I must just not have a taste for this type as it didnt tickle my fancy. I decided to stick with it. About 1/4 of the way down it got some flavor and became much smoother. It seemed to have a good-spiciness at this level. At the halfway point however it was back to the "rawish" (only way I can think to describe it) flavor it had at the beginning. It went back and forth between raw and smooth until I set it down and went to the restroom (that coffee kicking in.) When I returned it was gone.

Overall:

The past paragraph may sound overly harsh, this is not the case. It was enjoyable, just didnt "click" if this adds up in you guys minds as much as it does in mine.

Thanks for the smoke Brad!

Re: Creole

Most likely my cutting technique created the problem.
