The Maduro 2000 is without a doubt my "go to" smoke! I like the natural as well but there is something special about that maduro.

I am pretty new, but I would probably say that it was medium-bodied with a very good flavor. I enjoyed the smoke for roughly 45-50 minutes (I enjoyed every minute of it!). It seemed that the cigar was best about an inch and a half down and maintained this flavor till about the end of the smoke. Sorry the review isn't more descriptive, but I am a newb after all !.

I will definitely purchase some more of these cigars (Thanks DonJefe for the wonderful cigar !)

You can't go wrong with Padrons. They're one of my favorites. Try the 1964's and you'll be thinking about a part time job

padron is absoultely one of the most consistent smokes out there and is always a bargin. if you liked the 2000 then i think u'll like the 6000 as well. its a torpedo that is a bit bigger that is a little smoother. my go to cigar for sure.

Though I'm typically a fan of maduros, the 2000 natural isn't half bad either.

Re: First Padron - Padron 2000 maduro

Just nubbed one tonight...For some reason, this cigar was calling to me all day and I am glad I decided to light it up. I think my favorite part was when it got to about a couple inches left. The burn was even and I didn't have to relight and the draw was just about perfect.

Since everyone was describing it as such a reliable smoke and since it is not too expensive I decided to order two 5-packs and I do not regret it. I think in the near future I will buy a box...at about $80 for 25 sticks, what's not to like???

Thanks to everyone for bringing this awesome cigar to my attention!!!

Re: First Padron - Padron 2000 maduro

Great review bro, I felt the same exact way when I smoke my first Padron 2000 (natural though), I was so amazed at how great this cigar was, it was after a hard days work and a nice big dinner, broke out the fold out chairs with my buddy and smoked the night away!
It was like my 10th cigar I ever smoked, I've never had a bad one since. I'm glad you enjoyed yours, now go and buy all the padrons you can find!

I've been smoking the Londres lately. They have a classy square-pressed look and only cost $2.

Thanks for the review, great job!
The Padron 2000M are going to be my next box purchase (after snagging the Gurkha Grab-Bag Bundle from CI).

You may also want to try a La Gloria Cubana Wavell Maduro; it is comparable, though not identical to the 2000M.
